This document, written on Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs letterhead (stolen from the net) demands documents be produced (via a 'Diplomat') & a large sum of money to process them.
The HMRC have no jurisdiction over the USA - nor the Citizens of the US. The demand for a Diplomat to deliver them is laughable (Diplomats are Embassy Staff who do not do deliveries), the sum is expressed as 'British Pounds' (not pounds sterling) and there is no such person as 'Lord Charles Twyford' in the official listing of British aristocracy (Burke's Peerage).
I like the use of the expression "the mighty hands of the law" which is ridiculous!
This could, however, fool someone who is unaware of these facts.
