Just thought I'd post this. While baiting a scammer he sent me a supposed email from USPS that informed me that I had funds waiting. The basics of the scam was that he emailed me asking to buy something I was selling on Craigslist, then said he would send the funds through USPS. Then after the email below I also got another one saying that once I shipped the item via DHL that the post office would release the money order to me.

The scammer did send me a real DHL shipping label to send them item to them. Although the person I was supposed to be speaking to was a "Mary Brown" the shipping address on the label was to a "Chiman" in Nigeria. What a shock!

Also a big red flag was that the USPS email came from a different domain than USPS.com
