JOB ACTIVITIES
1 Accept incoming mail delivered by various postal services
2 Inspect and prepare packages for shipment
3 Print necessary documents
4 Monitor and manage data in your corporate database account

You have to be able lift heavy boxes up to 30 lbs
WORK DAY EXAMPLE
In your online account there will be list of incoming packages, you will know exact day of their arrival. Making a note you have to expect a delivery of the package this day, packages coming either by UPS or FEDEX.
Once package has been delivered, you are signing for it, login in your online account again, update statuses for delivered boxes that they have been delivered, your manager will see status update and issue a shipping label.
Shipping label is a prepaid usps shipping label which comes in digital format, you have to download it, print it, then get the label and the box to a post office and follow the procedure there. Once package is sent, you come back in your account and make final change to a package, marking it as sent.

Key Responsibilities:
Verify paperwork and labels on the packages according to procedures.
Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped out.
Post weights and shipping charges, as well as prepare the goods for a final shipment.
Coordinate carrier activities for the freight (inbound and outbound), making sure that all shipping documentation is correct and accurate.
Inspect inventory stock and distribute materials.
Send packages using proper transportation method.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED.
Experience in using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds and move inventory as needed.
