This is an overpayment scam. The scammer will pay with a stolen credit card and will want you to collect the travel expenses and wire the money to his "travel agent". The "travel agent" is in reality just another character played by the scammer himself to try and steal your money.

This morning I got this inquiry from our man "David Coleman." I'm in the United States and I coincidentally have operated tours, but I'm glad I googled ["David Coleman" and Glasgow] and found ScamWarners.com. Good stuff. I was suspicious because the email address looked to be computer-generated, there no mention of my name, how "he" was referred to me, or even the country/regions of interest for the purported "tour." Still using the dav0001c - at - gmail address too - Why can't Google shut this guy down?

Here's how it read:

Hello

My name is David Coleman.

I will like you to organize a tour package for my family of 4 people.
It will be a 5 days tour program. It will start on the 10th to 14th
August,2015

I would greatly appreciate it if you could send us an itinerary via
email that will cover the 5 days tour.The itinerary should include
sightseeing to historical places,arts and culture.

And if you have accommodation too.

Get back to me if you can take care of this booking. And I hope you do
accept credit cards for advance payment.

Welcome to Scamwarners,

I am glad you found this thread and did not become a victim.

We do not want google to shut him down. When people report the email address to providers it will make this thread void for warnings. The scammer will take 5 minutes out of his life and make a new email address with a new name.

We will only find him again when a victim or potential victim reports him here.
