Based in Mesquite, TX, Classic Shippers (CS) maintains the largest terminal network including three regional terminals in Dallas, Los Angeles, and New Jersey and over 95 partner terminals across the country allowing CS to control and oversee the transport of vehicles from pickup to delivery. ;

1. Can I search with a BL issued by another carrier than CS?
You can only trace an CS shipment using a valid CS BL or Container number
We have no knowledge of other carrier's shipments
2. Is the latest move displayed up to date?
CS tracking system results are references only.
The latest movement of the container displayed is not necessarily the latest physical
movement of the cargo.

3. Can I obtain an EAT (Estimated Arrival Time)
We can offer the ETA of of your container's next move with near accuracy, Unfortunately we can't provide a constantly reliable final ETA. We working on this feature and hopefully it will be available soon.
4. How do i clear my container in a region where CS does not have an office ?
Upon issue of a BL client is notified as to its nearest located clearing Agent Office
The agent notifies client timely enough, at least 7 days prior to arrival of shipment at port of discharge and one of our agents at the closest office will arrive at your port 3 days prior to arrival of your shipment to clear your containers and return the empty containers to the loading port.
5. I will like my shipment to stay at least a month at the port upon arrival for custom checks and other negotiations, How do i make such arrangements?
CS normally gives at list 30days for the containers to stay in the container yard at the discharge
6. What additional data elements must the customer provide to us in future compared to now?
Preferably HS codes, at least 4 digits but 6 digits are recommended or Acceptable Cargo Descriptions, as all the EU Member States are free to chose the languages they want to receive the goods’ description in, hence if provided in only descriptions without any HS codes, not all EU Member States will understand a cargo description that is provided in English.
7. What are the penalties for non-compliance?
Decisions on penalties are taken pursuant to the national customs legislation in the individual Member State. No precise information has been brought forward by the Member States as of now. “No SI – No Load” policy will also be imposed in order to comply with the EU regulations.
8. Are amendments to the ENS allowed after the initial declaration?
In general, it is possible. However, the amendment request(s) might not be accepted by the Customs. The final decision still lies with them. We will liaise with you separately on a case-by-case basis regarding such requests upon receipt. Local Amendment Fee will be applicable for such requests.
