Scams selling or giving away non-existent animals, often Puppy Scams.

While the majority of pet scammers reported focus on popular puppy breeds, we do see those who claim to be able to provide birds, exotic animals (such as primates) and cats. At least one current prolific scammer who is placing ads in "for sale sites" is claiming to be a breeder of exotic cats.

This scammer uses fake export certificates and stolen breeder photos to bolster his scam and further convince the victim that the kittens are real. At least one legitimate Russian breeder has been approached by victims who tracked stolen kitten photos to her website. Like many scammers, this scammer simply copied the photos from her site, changed the names of the kittens, and then placed ads on several websites claiming to be the breeder selling these kittens. This scammer is in Cameroon and has no kittens. Here is a copy of a fake certificate provided to a victim:

Known aliases for this scammer include Jarvis Enow, Jarvis Chokor or Tanyi Jarvis Achere

Reported emails include: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] , [email protected], [email protected]

This scammer has also been reported as placing ads for exotic shorthairs, bengals, and Norwegian Forest Cats.
