This is essentially an advanced fee fraud

You will be promised riches if only you will send thousands of dollars to a person you dont know, never actually met and hace no way of finding

It is of course a scam so please dont be fooled by it

BTW, the links given in the email are real links to news articles, its common for scammers to do this so they look legitimate
