Yes, it is definately a scam, I wil ltake a closer look shortly and find some evidence of it if I can, I am sure it wont be too hard to find something using our old friend Google

The biggest clue in that email is the FedEx email address near the bottom. I'm sure that FedEx does not use gmail for its email addresses.

Another clue might be in the portion you did not post. Was it sent directly to your email address, or does the "To:" line say "Undisclosed Recipients"? That indicates there were a lot of people's email addresses in the "BCC" field and nothing in the "To:" field - a pretty good indication of scam.

No doubt about this one, it is a scam

The things Holy posted are very good indicators that you should look out for but the simple answer is that nobody will be contacting you by email to tell you that you are about to be rich unless it is a scam

A typical advance fee fraud. The victim will be asked to pay $65 by Western Union. Then further requests for money will follow. Taxes, anti-terrorist certificate, etc.
Sending scam emails out referring to non-existent previous emails seems to be a recent development.
