The following email was received in response to a listing on an Au Pair website. This is a scam, no vacancy exists the scammer will try an scam you out of money by asking for fees or travel costs or accomodation costs.

Hello future au pair/Nanny!
Congratulations on your decision to be an au pair. It's a great opportunity to see the world and learn about different cultures, we really need someone early September or August. Our daughter (born January 2003) who name is Danielle Richards is very friendly and has had nannies or au pairs since birth. Our au pairs have had great fun with us and especially our daughter. They quickly made a great relationship and have had all sorts of great adventures. We have had au pairs from England, Norway and Scotland. Our daughter likes cycling, running, swimming, horse riding, skiing, tennis and especially karate (she is currently a blue belt) she passed her sailing level 1 course in May 2009. We need an au pair who is enthusiastic to support these interests! This is very important to us. An au pair who likes to swim would be great. And your Duties would include, taking our daughter to school and her swimming & karate classes, cycling and walking. Other duties would also include preparing her meals, her laundry, her room and helping with homework because we are busy family that why we need you to be our aupair for lovely daughter. We live in two beautiful houses only 5 miles (8KM) apart and our daughter shares both houses (which she loves!). We all enjoy fun and to laugh and would like an au pair who enjoys fun with us too, We have our own business and can be very busy so we need an au pair who can enjoy that environment and support it with flexibility. We must have an au pair who is comfortable with "sole charge" for when we both need to be away. We live in the East of England about 50 miles (80KM) north of London near the coast 8 miles (12KM) in a quiet countryside location on the edge of a large lake (100 Meters away). The area we live in is typically English beautiful, small and quiet with great walks and cycle areas and very good for running. The local lake is 8M (12KM) in circumference it offers sailing and water sports. It is also a nature reserve. There is also horse riding, a dry ski slope and tennis locally. The local large towns are Ipswich 5M (8KM) and Colchester 15M (20KM), both with populations of 100,000+
We think a good diet and healthy active lifestyle are essential for all ages. Because we are in the Brighton countryside, our location would NOT suit an au pair who prefers to be in the heart of the city (although we are less than 1 hour by train to London) The location would be better suited to our au pair who likes the relative quiet and peace of the countryside, walking, running, cycling, horse riding, sport, wildlife, nature, photography etc There is a lot to do if you are an "active" person. Our new Au Pair will have her own double bedroom and suite shower room, TV and DVD player, use of a car with Automatic gear box will also be provided with petrol allowance and car insurance. Full use of a PC with broadband internet access is also available. and You'll have access in our house which also include internet fancily & phone so that you can keep in touch with your family and friends, our family will paying you 1,200 pounds per monthly and you will treated as part of the family.
