This is how the Booking process works for long-term rental:
First I will activate the booking link and send it to you to book the apartment.
You send a deposit to the booking company to reserve the apartment for you (You will need to pay the first month's rent - €450 along with the €900 deposit. The total is €1,350.)
Once Booking has confirmed the payment, a Booking representative in Germany will be assigned to you, meet you and inspect both apartments. The agent will have the keys and all necessary documents.
After the inspection, you have two options:
If you like the apartment and decide on a long-term rental, you can complete the transaction with the Booking.com representative. They are fully authorized by me through a power of attorney to facilitate the rental.
The lease is flexible, covering any adjustments you may need. I am reasonable and open to modifications.
If, after the visit, you choose not to rent the apartment, Booking will give you a full refund. The cancellation policy is completely flexible and free of charge.
So, if after the inspection you decide not to proceed with renting the apartment, the entire amount you have paid (the deposit and the first month's rent) will be returned to you immediately.
If you prefer, subsequent monthly payments can be sent directly to me if you wish. We can discuss these details later.
