Company Overview
Allied Quests Construction & Supplies is based in New York City, and our clients include the private sector, government, local authorities and municipalities. As a medium-sized civil construction company we carry out a wide range of civil construction works.

The Allied Quests team consists of Contract Managers, Tenderers, Contract Administrators, Site Agents, Quantity Surveyors, Foremen, Surveyors, Operators, Labour and then of course our Administration personnel. Amongst us there are B.Tech degrees, B. Comm degrees, Civil Engineering Diplomas and various other qualifications. Most importantly however is the experience brought together and the capability of our staff to work together as a team.

The Allied Quests Construction & Supplies team can boast with many years of experience gathered in various sectors within the civil construction industry. This is proven by a wide variety of specialised projects completed since 2006. We believe in good internal relations as well as a constant on-the-job training program of junior and senior employees. The civil engineering sector has long been a key indicator of the economic health.
Our History
Allied Quests Construction & Supplies was founded in January 2006 by Mr James Smith, and since then has successfully undertaken various civil construction projects. Our contract capacity ranges up to $200 million per contract. Since 2000, Allied Quests Construction and Allied Quests Supplies Ltd joined our group and strengthened our capacity to deliver high quality work. Allied Quests Construction & Supplies has a dedicated and professional team that always strives to achieve a high standard of work.

Registration with a Professional Body will be an advantage.

Site Agent (Civil)
Requirements:
Min 5 years relevant experience with a diploma/degree in Civil Engineering works.
Measurable knowledge of GCC and SABS.
Must be able to manage people
Experience in Bulk pipelines, road construction & civil service developments
Candidates currently in Senior Site Agent positions will be preferred.
Civil Technician / Surveyor
Requirements:
Diploma/degree in Civil Engineering, or final year student.
Good surveying skills
Candidates with site experience will be preferred
Civil Foreman
Requirements:
Min. 5 years relevant experience. A diploma in civil engineering or equivalent qualification will be an advantage.
Experience of pipe work (sewerage, water and storm water), concrete works and road construction.
Concrete Foreman
Requirements:
Min. 5 years relevant experience.
Knowledgeable experience in off shutter concrete as well as waterproof concrete works.
Quantity Surveyor
Requirements:
Min. 3 years relevant experience with a diploma in civil engineering or equivalent qualification.
Experience with regard to services and infrastructure as well as main pipelines
Knowledge regarding the SABS and (CEQ)
Students / Practical
Requirements:
Finished Grade 12 with above 60% for Maths and Science or completed S2 or S4
Natural leadership abilities.
Good understanding of cost management.
Good understanding of resource management.
Diesel Mechanic
Requirements:
Diesel engineer qualification.
Experience in all aspects of repair works and maintenance of yellow construction vehicles, equipment and heavy vehicles.
Experience in hydraulic and electronic technology on newer equipment and vehicles.
Mechanical construction and ability to diagnose and solve problems.
Recording of services and repairs on all equipment and vehicles is a requirement.
Be prepared to work overtime and have sober habits.
