(Model Letter)

Dear Family

I always find it hard talking about myself but here goes. I come from a town called Weymouth in the
British isles, Europe. I come from a large family back ground with 2 sisters and 2 brothers so I have
seen it all and lived it all. I am 20 years of age and currently want to travel to different countries and
the worlds see the sights and learning of different cultures. I have always been keen to travel to
china and have been finding the means to when I stumbled across AU Pair. When I read up on the
website and understood it more I said to myself; that’s me, that’s what I want to do, that’s what I will
do.
I want to be part of your family to help, teach and to share knowledge. I am amazing with younger
children as I have the patience and the fun factor, any challenge set and I will do my best to
complete it as that’s the person I am. as I’ve been brought up with a massive family I’ve have
learned all about family values. I class myself as a positive person and many people who know will
say that I rub off on people and can’t help but not have a smile on my face.

The reason I am writing this is because I know I can do this, I have been doing this my whole life with
my family and now it’s time to help another family to learn and nurture. I would do anything to come
to china to do what I love and that’s to be a part of a child’s life and upbringing. Most of my family is
now over 16 so there is only so much looking after them I can do now. To be honest I miss having to
look after my younger family members and that’s why I thought this would be ideal for me, see the
5 / 6

world and looking after children, AU Pair is my dreams come true.

Please paste 3-5 pictures on this page, including 1 passport photo and some photos with your family,
friends and children(Kind of like student style and more nature of your pictures is better, coz
Chinese families most of them are traditional, especially they hopes their kids can get some
good habits and anything from you which is role-model)
