I have Alicia Madrigal <[email protected]>
A confirmed scam artist chatting with me. I am trying to rent a room in my Apartment on CL. She is seeking this room. I obviously will not be exchanging emails with her but is there an agency that I can turn her into so that we can shut this tramp down?

Thanks for any help.

Not easily. These scammers operate in areas with weak enforcement. She's not in England, so the British police won't be able to punish her. If they have registered domains, we shut them down; if they reveal their bank accounts, we report them; but for free email addresses, it's better to publicize them and let them keep using them. This makes them recognizable to potential victims who web-search their addresses or phrases in their scripts.
