I am really tired of Nigerian scammers, I thank God I am a strong person and read, plus research. I detest that the scamming business seem to be getting worst. They are everywhere it seem, trying to fool some trusting person that they are good people but actually are criminals trying to steal your money. Sorry I took so long to answer your email. The email used by my scammer was [email protected]. The name used was George Brown, who claimed that he was an American working in Nigeria as an Architect. I posted the information on 419 website because this one was down for awhile. His real name maybe Kayode Peter.

This man I think is a scammer, he is really good, and he uses good English. His email is [email protected]. The name he uses is George Brown from the United States, an Architect working In Nigeria. I have tracked him for weeks, tried to get information on him. He is very secretive when I ask personal questions about his life and education, he never gives me the same answer, and he lies. He ask me about a credit card to receive his pay; about opening an IRA; about sending him money for food and to go see a doctor, since he was robbed of all his money. The last thing he tried to pull over me was receiving money for him and sending it to him and I had enough, so I cut him off from contacting me. I am sending headers and I have pictures that he used, also I found him on Myspace.com; I met him on tagged. He was kicked off of tagged.com. If you need copies of his letter to me, I can send. It looks like this person is using a company to rout it's emails through. It may be where they house files related to websites they have for scamming. Normal people do not use complicated systems like this person is using. People who want to hide use complicated systems like this.

NNFMP is a little understood yahoo-specific mail transport protocol. It is most often associated with spammers and scammers, and is an indication of forged headers.

So, basically, the headers are forged and none of the IP's are reliable. This doesn't mean the scammer is American, as scammers and spammers worldwide use forged headers.

My name is Maggie and I have been scammed for close to 4 years by this person. I must be a complete idiot. But, I do have some information and, if I can figure out how to post them, pictures from George. It is pretty much the information that has already been posted....he says his birth date is April 12 (the year varies). He was a widower (wife's name was Marina Jenny) and they lived in Spokane Valley, Washington. They had a daughter who also died, I believe in a car accident. He is familiar with Washington State (my home state), so I believe that he probably did live there at some time. Supposedly, he has family in New Jersey and his wife and daughter are buried there. His parents died (somehow) and he was raised by his grandparents in Baden, Germany (the reason he speaks with a distinct accent). He was educated in England (I believe he said he got the architect degree from Eton, but I'm not sure). Has a passion for foreign cars and the bigger the better. For the past year, he supposedly has been living in London, but is on his way to Dubai. Kayode Peter (full name is Oygabenro Kayode Peter) is either George's real name/alter ego/best buddy. Kayode may be changing his name to Anthony Peters. Supposedly, Kayode's wife and daughter were killed in a bomb blast in Almioso, Lagos, Nigeria (I did some checking and there was a bomb attack there on that day). I live in Alamogordo, New Mexico and he recently obtained a phone number from Google (no idea how he did that) (575)479-7058. His newest scam address could very well be from here, or he has a thing about Ohio. I have a few more email addresses on him, too, but I need to find them. If anyone would like more information, please let me know and I will do my best to provide it. He took me for a lot of money. I will NOT have you blame yourself at all, scammers are experts at what they do, and at pulling the right strings. He has told you lies. A degree from Eton? Maggie if you go up top, to Romance Scam section and start a fresh post with a scammer email address as header it will help us keep track of the scammer. We won't lose you anyway! It won't matter if you want to collect thoughts a while and make a package for us. It's great "get even " therapy--and you will! It will not be "One of our Customer Service Advisors will contact you in due course." I know who it will be, and it will be the antiscam masters. "We are waiting for your call"

I'm very sorry that you have had to discover that what you thought was a long-term relationship was actually a scam.

The scammer has likely never lived in Washington. He may have done research online about Washington, or ge may very well have used information provided by another victim to support his story. Sadly, a scammer will not hesitate to use ID's, names, photos, even information he gets from one victim to scam another victim.

As for the bomb blast--it is very common for scammers to use real news stories in their scams, and pretend that they are connected to those stories.

Hello Maggie, So sorry to hear that you were a victim of this horrible crime. I first came to scamwarners after an encounter with a romance scammer and while I did no loose any money he did take a bit of the heart. As others said, post up any details you have, but also do somethings to indulge yourself. Treat yourself to something special. While the "man" turned out to not be real, it is still a loss. Think of it as an end of relationship and spend some time mourning that end, eat ice cream, take a bubble bath, cry in a pillow (for 10 minutes only), do whatever makes you feel better. We often focus on the financial toll of being scammed, but it is also important to allow your emotional state to heal. Please feel free to PM me if you just want somebody to talk to.

Friend in Nigeria ? Thats where he really is. The bomb attack is an excuse and another lie.
He asks for money via Western Union etc. Wealthy people do not need to ask for money and if he likes large foreign cars then he is wealthy. Paid for by his victims of course.
The biggest total crash is getting his degree. Eton is a boys public school up to age 18 . They do A levels.
If he needs money due to an emergency - He asks his Embassy for help.
He calls you Honey, angel, babe. my wife etc.
He sends poems in messages.
He never answers questions.
His English is often substandard, with no capital letters in the right place and he does not use the personal article.
He is God fearing.
He does not need your help to pay for hotel bills, hospital fees, plane tickets, visas, customs fees for stuck packages of gold and diamonds. He has not got a huge inheritance and needs to pay a barrister, and he does not have a tin box of money infortunately all stained black and need expensive chemicals to wash it all off.
He has not sent you a parcel containing 4 i Pads, a laptop computer, 2 pairs of boxer shorts, jewellery, 300,000 dollars and a kitchen sink. It is not stuck in Dubai customs and he can't raise the release fee, and you do not have to pay a shipping company 2000 dollars. I expect you had all those and more.
That's without us having the stolen photos , email addresses and cut and paste text, and all the fake contacts from invented officials. He is just a filthy criminal and laughs at you all day long. To him you are a mugu, a sucker, and his income. He is uneducated, lazy, and incapable of getting a proper job. Tell him nothing and move on.
