Hello, I'm new here. I've been interested in scambaiting for over a decade, but when a close family friend recently fell for a romance scam, I decided to join the fight. I'm working a few things over at the eater site, and I'm finding a lot of puppy sites that I'll post here as well.

Sweetsuger_brown if you have to ask and the email doens't ring a bell you most likely are. It is hard to tell without seeing what email you have received, so I am only guessing "yes". If you received an email referencing money for you from a stranger, odds are it is likely a scam.

Can you post the email you have received? Make sure to delete any personal information (such as your name) before you post.
