Kacer's Kwik Stop Scam

Do Not Cash a check off of account number 1501054 for Kacer's Kwik Stop. This is a scam!!! File a case with your local law enforcement agency. Give them as much information as possible in order to stop the group continuing these scams. You may receive the check from a friend, via UPS, FedEx, or via regular mail. Some people have been known to be scammed by Craigslist ads. Please do not fall for this SCAM!

It looks as if Kacer's Quick Stop may be an innocent victim in this too.

Presumably this relates to counterfeit cheques being issued by a scammer that the store knows nothing about.

If I'm wrong let me know but it helps to be clear so that more confusion isn't caused and so that we don't mislead people.

To clarify, Kacer's Kwik Stop is innocent in the scam. The scam is being perpetrated by an unknown party using copies of one of their checks.
