Dear Colleagues,

It is my pleasure to invite you on behalf of the international child health project to the international congress against child forced labour and child Exploitation taking place from June 4th - 7th 2012 in California. The United States and in Dakar-Senegal, from June 11st - 14th 2012. We are inviting people from various countries around the world.

Today, according to the ILO's most recent estimates, over 132 million boys and girls, aged 5-14 years old, work in agriculture around the world. They are part of an estimated 246 million child labourers globally. Few countries and sectors totally escape this terrible blight in the 21st century.

Child labour can be defined as work that deprives children of their childhood, their potential and their dignity, and that is harmful to physical and mental development”

Participation in the Conference is free but not fully sponsored. All registered participants are entitled to meals and accommodation which will be provided during their stay in the U.S.A only. Participant Air Tickets for both venue will be sponsored by our organization. Also note that the total number of participants will be limited, and registrations will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis. Registration may close May 20th if the event is full. If you are interested in attending, please register as soon as possible.

If you are a holder of passport that may require visa to enter the United States Or Senegal, you may inform the conference secretariat at the time of registration, as the organizing committee is responsible for all visa arrangements and travel assistances.

Many thanks for your interest in participating at the international congress against child forced labour and child Exploitation.

Conference Objectives:
1. Learn from international and local experts who will identify specific issues and current trends of child labour.
2. Gain awareness concerning the depth of the problem of child sex trafficking in worldwide.
3. Develop skills to assess situations that involve labor and /or sex trafficking.
4. Learn about specific treatment methodologies effective in helping victims of child labor and sex trafficking.
5. Learn of the resources (legal, social service, religious) available to address both victims and perpetrators of labor and sex trafficking.
6. Learn the best practices for residential services and outreach to child labour victims.

Participants must be in possession of their International Passports to enable them participate in this conferences. Only on receipt of Participants filled registration forms, reservation receipt will participant’s visa assistance request be forwarded to the U.S Department of State and the Senegalese Immigration for same day visa Authorization which shall be sent to the consular section of the U.S Embassy, in your country of residence.

Registration:
It is not necessary that one must belong to an organization before he or she is eligible to attend this event. Interested delegate can participate as an individual or maximum of (4-6) persons as a group or organization to represent their Country in the forth-coming events. None of them should be less than eighteen years of age and all delegates must participate in both venues, USA / Senegal.

This is to inform all our participants that there have been some modalities that have taken place which warrant us to shift the conference date. The conference is going to be held on June 18th-21th 2012 in the United States and in, Dakar Senegal from 25th-28th June 2012 in, DAKAR-SENEGAL, West - Africa.

This is due to the inability of over 300 participants who could not catch up with the deadline, and lack of seats in our carrier Airline company flights because of the Festival period.

Furthermore, we have exceeded the normal capacity of attendants and we have over 2.000 participants already with more than a 500 more on the waiting list.
