from Estonians, Italians and others that are offering very cheap iPhones.

Thanks for the extra information about the new site being used its2late, though they can clearly manufacture new sites within hours, but if we can save one victim from losing money, we're making a difference.

We have no way of knowing the nationalities of the scammers They could just as easily be British like me, so race doesn't come in to it. It's their motive in trying to steal people's money, and I dislike people like that whatever their nationality.

What you say about not paying for goods by Western Union is absolutely correct. If the seller suggests that he's a company then, if they're honest, they'll have a company bank account in that name (not a personal account of a private individual), and if they don't, you know you're buying goods from someone who is dishonest. Having a fancy website proves nothing about the status of the company or their honesty. If they claim to be large retailers, then there' ll be lots of mention of them on the internet. If you do a Google search and just finds lots of adverts and 'forum spamming', then beware.
