clearing house scam

I got a call from a 202-557-4707 number says he is holding a package with a check for 150,000 from the publishing clearing house and I should send $1,000 to philip popo in oxon hill maryland to clear it, I am not stupid looks like a scam so i did not send any money please be on the looking for these scammers if they call you.
