I would like to say a big thank you to whoever set up this site. I was almost tricked into a property scam. I want to post my experience to be able to help some innocent individual out there.
I wanted to rent a ppty for summer in NY and got to airbnb.com site and got in touch with a james warner with email [email protected]
I had entered into several email exchanges with him and sent a deposit of 2200 to him when i didnt hear from him within 2hrs of having sent the money. I became apprehensive and realized i didnt have anything on him apart from his email add as he declined giving his telephone number.when i googled his email address i was taken to this site.
within minutes of seeing his name, I had to call the bank to see if they could retrieve the money from his account (he had given the name of gloria Bustamante as the beneficiary of the funds and ppty lawyer). I was able to get my money back but I still believe that we should be able to nab this fellow and find a way to get innocent peeps away from his scams.
I would also like to post all the email correspondence exchanged between both of us. He is unaware of what i know about him and is still saying that he has ppties for rent.
