hi, i have recieved an email 4 weeks ago, from a law firm in america asking me to be next of kin please could you have a look at the letter and let me know after reading similar scams i am sure it is thankyou

Dear Friend,

I am Mohamed Hazol,an attorney at law. A deceased client of mine, by name Mr
Adams,who here in after shall be referred to as my client, died as the result
of a heart-related condition on the 11th of November 2004. His heart condition
was due to the death of all the members of his family in the gulf air flight
crashes in Persian gulf near Bahrain aired august 23, 2000 - 2:50 p.m.
I have contacted you to assist in distributing the money left behind by my
client before it is confiscated or declared unserviceable by the bank when this
deposit valued at $15.5million dollars is lodged.This bank has issued me a
notice to contact the next of kin, or the fund will be transferred into the
federal government reserve.
My proposition to you is to seek your consent to present you as the next-of-kin
and beneficiary of my late client,so that the proceeds of this account can be
paid to you.Then we can share the amount on a mutually agreed-upon
percentage.All legal documents to back up your claim as my client's next-of-kin

Yes, this is a definite scam.

This is basic Advance Fee Fraud--which means that the scammer is promising you a large sum of money--but you will be required to pay fees or bribes to get this money. The "inheritance" doesn't actually exist--in the end the only money to change hands would be yours.

thankyou, i didnt like the idea of being posted has a next of kin of someone i dont even know thought it sounded illegal thankyou
